About Us

Welcome to WORDS London, I’m Del—the creator behind all the scrabble-style mischief you see here. What started as a little experiment back in 2012 has turned into a full-blown creative adventure. Back then, I was setting up stalls across London’s iconic markets—Camden, Portobello, Greenwich, you name it—armed with my quirky wordplay, vintage prints, and a slightly wobbly market table. These days, you’ll catch me regularly at Brick Lane Market, where the vibe is as lively as the art I create.

My passion? Taking words and turning them into something that makes people grin, laugh, or say, “Yep, that’s going on my wall.” I mix wordplay with mounted Scrabble-style letter tiles and vintage artwork to create pieces that feel nostalgic, cheeky, and a little bit sentimental (sometimes all at once). Whether it’s a classic quote, a bold statement, or a bit of naughty humor, each piece is lovingly handmade at my little studio, nestled deep in rural Essex. It’s a world away from the hustle of London, but it’s where I find the peace to dream up new ideas, armed with plenty of tea and the occasional biscuit.

Every piece has a personality because I believe art should be more than just something you hang up—it should spark a memory, tell a joke, or remind you of a moment that matters. And if you’re looking for something totally unique, I’ve got you covered with my bespoke personalisation service. You tell me the words; I’ll make the magic happen.

I’ve made wall art that’s been given as anniversary presents, cheeky gag gifts, housewarming surprises, and even some “just because” moments. There’s something in the collection for everyone—or at least there will be once I’m done!

Thanks for stopping by. Whether you’re just browsing or ready to commission something personal, I’m glad you found me. Now, let’s create something worth talking about. 😊
